Khalil, Train to Gain participant
Khalil started an NCFE course with LifeLine and was a shy student. Although Khalil had previous work experience, he felt very unconfident. Khalil was offered a placement with Somerfield which he completed with enthusiasm. The management were delighted with his commitment, stating he was a “very good worker, likes to keep busy and very helpful”. Somerfield offered him a permanent position. Khalil was keen to progress further and has started an NVQ Level 2 in retail with LifeLine.
