Champions Support Network

A helping hand for parents and carers facing challenges with raising a young person.

We know that raising and caring for a young person can be really challenging.

Young people are also more at-risk than ever of numerous issues, most notably gang violence and knife crime.

But you're not alone.

Our Champion Peer Mentors are local parents and carers, just like you, who have experience and knowledge and can guide you in navigating the various support systems you require.

A local support network

Our trained Champion Peer Mentors are available to support parents and carers with any issues they face.

Support workshops

A space for parents and carers to explore issues and their solutions on a variety of topics.

Regular meet-ups

Come together to meet other parents and carers from your area, share your experiences, and support each other.

In-depth training

Delivered by specialist providers, these training sessions focus on key concerns for a young person's wellbeing.

Workshops for parents and carers cover a multitude of topics, including:

  • Self-care
  • Grief and emotion

  • Criminal and sexual exploitation

  • Gang involvement
