Support to find the right job

Tricia was enthusiastic and keen to work hard but found herself struggling to secure a job. She ended up attending LifeLine’s Job Shop on Green Lane to get some support with her job search. Tricia’s job broker found out that she wanted to work with children and realised that Tricia just needed a chance to prove herself. She put Tricia forward for a volunteer position at Valence Children’s Centre.

Tricia loved working at the Children’s Centre and her job broker could see that she was growing in confidence. At the same time, LifeLine was providing Tricia with interview preparation support and key skills classes. Within a few months, Tricia secured a job at a local nursery and is very grateful for the support and experience she received from LifeLine.
