Workshop Content

1) It’s OK not to be OK

Nick will talk about his experiences of coming to terms with anxiety and how he deals with it:

  • How anxiety has affected his life
  • His initial struggles to come to terms with it
  • How he has learnt to control it

2) Talk About It

  • Looking at the meaning of the lyrics in Talk About It
  • Harnessing the power of words to overcome anxiety
  • Students have the opportunity to talk about their personal experiences if they would like to

3) Writing

Time for students to write about their experiences of anxiety:

  • Pointers and tips on best practice
  • Students chose to write either as a poem or in free form English
  • Working individually or in small groups

Note: This is confidential; students do not have to share their writings unless they wish to

4) Feedback

Opportunity for students who would like to to share their writings and talk about the experience of writing about their anxiety.

5) Practical tips for dealing with mental health

Top tips on how to open up to people, as well as signposting students to charities that provide support.


Our workshops are available for £500 per day – choose from a Taster or Intensive course to best suit your needs!


  • Hold one-hour workshops for five groups of students
  • Up to 10 students per group, or 20 when accompanied by a teacher


  • Hold half-day workshops for two groups of students
  • Up to 10 students per group, or 20 when accompanied by a teacher

We offer bespoke packages too! Please get in touch if you’d like to discuss a design to fit the needs of your students. For example, if you would like us to work with one group of students intensively over several sessions.

All purchases include a complimentary assembly presentation and show by Nick Brewer lasting no longer than 30 minutes.
