The MCF—funded by Freemasons, their families, and friends—supports thousands of people every year through projects that reduce isolation, tackle poverty, and improve health and wellbeing. Their commitment to compassion and community aligns closely with our mission at Lifeline Projects of helping people grow through mentoring, education, and holistic wellbeing.
This funding comes at a vital time. Across Barking and Dagenham, Redbridge, and Havering, thousands of families are struggling with housing, poverty, and the pressures of everyday life. In Barking and Dagenham alone, 42% of children live below the poverty line, and only 56% of two-year-olds are meeting expected developmental milestones.
The MCF grant will enable us to reach more families with children aged 0–5, helping them meet basic needs, build parenting confidence, and engage with local support services.
We are deeply grateful to the Masonic Charitable Foundation for their generosity and belief in our work. This support will help us reach more young people and families who may be struggling and create more opportunities for them to grow and succeed.

This is a wonderful opportunity to expand the support we provide to families during those crucial early years. Our team sees every day how much difference it makes when parents feel confident, connected, and supported.
With the MCF’s help, we can reach more families who need that extra bit of encouragement and guidance to give their children the best possible start in life.
