Many families are under pressure and finding it harder to manage daily life.
The Mayor of London's Parent Carer Champion Network helped parents and carers to offer support in their own communities, using their own experiences to assistance other parents on their journey.
We're continuing this legacy by working across all 32 London boroughs to further develop parents into specially trained and accredited Leaders who can offer greater support within their communities.
This training will be designed to help Leaders support other parents and carers with improving their family's wellbeing and setting boundaries, with a particular focus on supporting families who have been affected by violence.
Our OCN Level 2 Award in Peer Mentoring (equivalent to a GCSE) will help families to navigate and understand the systems that affect them, allowing them to not only support themselves but also other families in need.
