New Wellbeing Peer Support programme launches thanks to support from NHS North East London Foundation Trust

We’re pleased to continue working with the NHS North East London Foundation Trust (NELFT), whose new funding allows us to deliver a Wellbeing Peer Support programme in the London Boroughs of Barking and Dagenham and Redbridge. The programme supports people experiencing mental health challenges by connecting them with trained volunteers who draw on their own lived experience of recovery to provide encouragement, understanding and practical support.

Through peer support groups, wellbeing activities, and community engagement opportunities, the programme aims to improve mental wellbeing, reduce loneliness and social isolation, and help people build confidence, resilience and stronger connections within their local communities.

More activities for young people in East London thanks to Million Hours funding

Thanks to the Million Hours Fund run by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and the National Lottery Community Fund, we’re able to offer additional positive activities for young people in the London Boroughs of Tower Hamlets and Redbridge.

Led by experienced youth workers, these sport-focused sessions help young people build confidence, strengthen friendships, and develop positive connections, while contributing to safer and more connected communities.

Council funding brings holiday activities and food to young people in Newham

We’re pleased to have been granted funding through the Holiday Activities and Food programme by Newham Council. This new funding will allow us to provide free holiday activities and nutritious meals for young people aged 11 to 16 during the school summer holidays over the next three years.

Through sports, creative activities and youth work support, the programme helps young people stay active, build confidence, develop new skills and maintain positive social connections, while ensuring they have access to healthy meals in a safe and supportive environment.
